KATHMANDU: An incident in Achham, it was discovered that a young woman had a lock placed on her private part, reportedly by her spouse.
Upendra Hudke of Dhakari Rural Municipality Ward No. 6 Bachkot of Achham locked his wife’s private part after discovering she was with a man.
Currently, he is working in Maharashtra, India, and the incident of locking his wife’s private part has come to light.
The matter came to light after concerned neighbors noticed the woman’s distress and notified the authorities.
The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, endured this horrific ordeal for around 15 days.
Following prolonged suffering, she reached a point where she could no longer bear the pain, prompting intervention from neighbors.
Following her rescue, the victim was swiftly taken to a YCM hospital in India, where she is currently undergoing medical treatment.
The alleged perpetrator, Upendra Hudkel, has absconded and is presently evading law enforcement.
Nevertheless, collaborative efforts are underway between the All India Nepali Unity Forum and the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation to assist Indian authorities in locating him.
