Bus traveling from Pokhara to Gulmi involved in accident, one dies

KATHMANDU: One person has died in a bus accident in Gulmi.
The deceased has been identified as Yuvaraj Kunwar, a 40-year-old co-driver of the bus heading to Gulmi from Pokhara.
The accident occurred in the Ridim-Tamghas section of Gulmi district, under the jurisdiction of Makwadi Rural Municipality-1.
The information was provided by Shankar Pokharel, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Gulmi District Police Office, to Lumbini Medical College in Palpa, where Kunwar was receiving treatment.
The bus, bearing registration number Lu 1 Kha 8175, met with the accident around 50/60 meters downhill from the road.
Twelve passengers were injured in the accident, all of whom are undergoing treatment in Palpa.
There were 13 passengers on board the bus at the time of the accident.
