Barcelona defeats relegated Almeria with two goals by Fermín López

KATHMANDU: Barcelona secured a 2-0 victory against relegated Almeria in the Spanish La Liga, driven by two goals from Fermín López.

The match took place on Thursday night at the Power Horse Stadium.

With this win, Barcelona, currently in second place, has accumulated 79 points from 36 games.

In contrast, Almeria remains in the 20th position with 17 points from the same number of matches.

López opened the scoring in the 14th minute, netting a goal from a pass by Fort García.

He sealed the victory for Barcelona in the 67th minute with another goal, assisted by Sergi Roberto, ensuring a comfortable win for the visitors.
