KATHMANDU: Dr. Govinda KC, who began his hunger strike on May 11, was admitted to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj on Wednesday evening as his condition worsened.

Dr. Dinesh Kafle reports that Dr. KC’s glucose levels have plummeted, his pulse rate is unsteady, and he is suffering urine retention.

Despite being hospitalized, Dr. KC has maintained his hunger strike.

This is Dr. KC’s 22nd hunger strike, and his latest demand is for the Prime Minister’s resignation.
