Brothers drowns to death in Babai river

KATHMANDU: The brothers died after drowning while swimming.

Deepak Pariyar, 18, and Dipesh Pariyar, 16, who had recently arrived in their aunt’s home from India to their relative’s house, drowned in while swimming in river.

The incident occurred at the Ghat of Ward No. 7, Odale, Babai Municipality.

Inspector Ajay Jang Thapa of Khilatpur Police Office in charge of the area informed about the drowning incident.

Deepak was treated at the State Hospital in Tulsipur, while Dipesh was declared dead at the scene of the incident.

The family of the deceased used to stay in India for work.
