KATHMANDU: Khukuri Rum,’ a popular Nepali liquor, and the producer of ‘Nude Vodka,’ ‘The Nepal Distillery,’ have supported the installation of poles and streetlights in some road areas in Ward No. 16 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

As part of its corporate social responsibility, the company has installed 23 street lights and 9 poles at Jagriti Marga in Balaju, 23 street lights at Buddha Tole and 26 lights and 1 pole at Nagarjuna Club, Bohoratar.

With the installation of streetlights, the Balaju road area is now illuminated.

The organized street lighting not only enhances the beauty and security of the area but also instills confidence in the company.

The local community has also benefited greatly from this initiative.

Subash Lamichhane, the Managing Director of Di Nepal Distillery, expressed confidence that this initiative plays a vital role in strengthening the relationship between the company and the local community.
