Kandel wins as Chair of UML Tanahun

KATHMANDU: Hariraj Kandel has won as the Chair of CPN (UML) Tanahun.

He won by getting 292 votes according to the final results of Tuesday night.

Chair of the Election Committee Padmalal Lamichhane informed that Bishnu Bhakta Sigdel, the competitor of the President, received 204 votes.

Rajeshwar Dhakal has won the position of Vice-Chair, Pradeepraj Adhikari has won the position of Secretary, Khim Bahadur Kumal has won the position of Deputy Secretary, and Sunita Nepali has won the position of Deputy Secretary for Women.

The convention elected a 99-member district committee and a five-member accounting committee.

Out of 585 voters, 560 people voted.
