Partial influence of local & western winds brings possible rain & snow to Nepal
Light rain is occurring in a few places in the hilly areas of Koshi State.
KATHMANDU: Due to the partial influence of local and western winds, some parts of the country may experience rainfall on Wednesday.
According to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, the Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali States, along with the hilly regions of the country, are partly cloudy in the morning.
Light rain is occurring in a few places in the hilly areas of Koshi State.
The weather in the remaining Terai regions is mostly clear.
In the afternoon, the hilly areas of Koshi Province will remain partly to generally cloudy.
Other hilly regions will be partly cloudy, while the Terai regions will experience mostly clear to partly cloudy weather.
There is a possibility of light rain with thunder, lightning, and gusty winds in a few places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki States, and in isolated places in other hilly regions.
There is also a chance of light snowfall in a few places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali States.
At night, the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali States will be partly cloudy.
The rest of the regions will experience partly cloudy to mostly clear weather, as reported by the department.
