Child dies in tipper hit

KATHMANDU: A 10-year-old boy, Shisang Bishwakarma, lost his life in a road accident at Charkhole Golai, located in Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality-6, Dhankuta.

The incident occurred on Tuesday morning when a tipper, bearing the registration number State 1-02-001 Kha 8934, struck the young boy while traveling from Bhedetar to Dhankuta.

Shisang Bishwakarma, son of Naresh Bishwakarma, hailed from Dharan Sub-metropolitan City-17 in Sunsari died on the spot.

Following the accident, the police have taken the tipper driver into custody.

Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances leading to this tragic incident.
