55-year-old man dies in road accident

KATHMANDU: A 55-year-old Pancheswar Mandal, resident of Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality-1, died on Monday afternoon after being hit by a pick-up van State 1-04-001 Cha 0502 on the road in Saptari, Kanchanrup Municipality-1 Bairawa.

He was seriously injured in the collision and died during treatment at Biratnagar Neuro Hospital.

The van driver has been detained by the police.

The police are conducting necessary investigations regarding the accident.
