Nicholas Bhushal held for chanting in favor of Sandeep Lamichhane outside SC premises

KATHMANDU: Nicholas Bhusal was arrested for chanting slogans in support of cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane outside the Supreme Court premises.

Following the chants demanding an immediate resolution to Sandeep’s case, the police intervened and took him into custody.

Bhusal’s arrest took place on Sunday evening, as confirmed by Superintendent of Police and spokesperson Nawaraj Adhikari of the District Police Complex in Kathmandu.

He remains in police custody at present.

Nicholas has been exerting pressure for justice to be served to Sandeep through his actions.

Just days prior to his arrest, he and numerous other youths participated in a rally in Kalanki.
