One dies in tractor accident

KATHMANDU: An accident occurred on Saturday when an uncontrolled tractor with registration number Se 1 Ta 9754 veered off the road in Kanri, Ward No. 15 of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, Kailali.

Sadly, 21-year-old Samir Rana from Ward No. 13 of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, who was travelling the tractor, lost his life in the accident.

He was rushed to the Emergency Ward of Seti State Hospital in Dhangadhi for treatment of serious injuries sustained in the accident, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

The tractor driver has been taken into custody by the police.

Authorities are conducting necessary investigations into the incident.
