Unknown group sets school bus ablaze

A fire has been set this morning in a school bus belonging to a Small Heaven English Boarding School located in Ward No. 20 of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Dadreni, Chitwan.
The incident occurred while the bus (Bagmati State 06 001 Ka 0045) was transporting students from Chanauli, Dadreni, Shukranagar, and Patihani areas.
Arriving on three motorcycles, the perpetrators forced the students and bus staff off the bus, confiscated their mobile phones, doused the bus with petrol, and ignited the flames.
The blaze resulted in complete damage to the bus.
Authorities from Bharatpur rushed to the scene to control the fire, and the responsibility for the incident has been attributed to the negligence of the concerned authorities in preventing such incidents.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
