Car accident in Lalitpur’s Kupondol area disrupts power supply, driver unhurt

KATHMANDU: A car accident occurred in Kupondol, Lalitpur on Saturday morning at around 5:30 a.m.

The car with registration number Ba 028 Cha 4289 collided with an electricity pole on the roadside.

According to the police department in Kupondol, the car crashed into the electricity pole, causing a disruption in the power supply in the area.

It is reported that the driver lost control of the car, resulting in the accident due to excessive speed.

The front part of the car sustained damage in the accident.

Sanjib Joshi, aged 45, the driver of the car, who resides in Satdobato, Lalitpur, escaped unhurt.

He has been taken under control by the police department in Kupondol.
