One killed, one wounded in Ilam accident

KATHMANDU: A 23-year-old co-driver Toya Acharya, a resident of Ilam Municipality-5, died on Thursday night when a pick-up State 1-03-001 Cha 0069 heading to Jamuna from Biplyate went out of control on the road in Sapkota Village, Sandakpur Rural Municipality-5.

He was seriously injured in the accident and died on the way to Ilam Hospital for treatment.

The pick-up driver, who sustained minor injuries in the accident, has been sent to Ilam Hospital for treatment.

The police are conducting necessary investigations regarding the accident.
