KATHMANDU: The District Ayurveda Health Center in Kathmandu has successfully conducted a health promotion program for senior citizens.
The program included health check-ups and free distribution of medicines for elderly citizens.
Additionally, in coordination with the Senior Citizens Service Center in Tinkune, Shantinagar, the center has organized the program twice, offering necessary health treatments and free medicine distribution to senior citizens.
In areas of discomfort (such as joints, waist, shoulders, knees, etc.), massages and treatments were provided using medicinal oils.
The program aimed to raise awareness among senior citizens about their health issues and encouraged their participation in health screenings and check-ups.
Furthermore, the Ayurvedic and Alternative Medicine Clinic in Kathmandu provides special services for senior citizens under free health promotion services.
This includes health check-ups, chemical treatment, and health protection, promotion, and appropriate counseling through the medium of yoga.
