Man dead due to stab injury in Western Australia
Police noted that there are no concerns for public safety.

SYDNEY: Australian police confirmed on Wednesday that a man died in hospital after being stabbed at a residence in an outer southern suburb of Perth.
At about 11:45 p.m. local time on Tuesday night, police were called to the house in Safety Bay, some 41 km south of Perth’s central business district, following the report of a man having been critically injured, according to a statement by the Western Australia (WA) Police Force.
“A man, who is yet to be identified, was located with a serious injury, consistent with a stab wound. The injured man was taken to Rockingham General Hospital by St John (Ambulance) WA, where he died a short time later,” the statement said.
Homicide detectives have commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident and a man is currently assisting with inquiries.
Police noted that there are no concerns for public safety.
