Today’s weather: Heavy rain with thunder & lightning

KATHMANDU: Nepal has the influence of western winds, local winds as well as the low-pressure system formed around Bihar in India.

Currently, a partial to general change in weather is observed in the hilly regions of the country since this morning (Tuesday), while light rainfall is occurring in some areas of Bagmati and Koshi States.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecasted generally clear weather from partial changes to the weather in other parts of the country.

Partial to generally changing conditions are also prevailing across the nation during the daytime.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in some places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini States, along with a chance of heavy rainfall in some areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali States.

The Meteorological Division has also indicated a possibility of light snowfall in some places of the high hilly and Himalayan regions of the country.

Similarly, nighttime weather across the country is also experiencing partial to generally changing conditions.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in some places of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki States, along with a chance of light rainfall in some areas of other States.
