Splitsvilla 15 contestant Deekila Sherpa allegedly assaulted by unidentified individual

KATHMANDU: Deekila Sherpa, a contestant of the Indian television dating reality show MTV Splitsvilla 15, was beaten up.

Anikit Pakhrin Lamal, a participant of MTV Splitsvilla 15, revealed via Instagram live video on Sunday that fellow contestant Deekila Sherpa was involved in an altercation.

In the video, a man wearing a white t-shirt appears to be engaging in a physical altercation with them.

Deekila, during the live video, claimed that he was invited by a company named Sunburn as a guest in Bangalore on Saturday, where he and his partner were assaulted by an unidentified individual.

He expressed concern over the mistreatment of Nepalis in Bangalore and mentioned attempting to contact the local authorities, but received no response.

Aniket has highlighted the recurring incidents of such nature towards Nepalis and emphasized the need for everyone to take such matters seriously. He also urged tourists visiting Sikkim to avoid any such misconduct.

Additionally, Aniket has called for strict action against the perpetrators, reaching out to government officials in Sikkim and northern border areas of India to raise awareness on the issue and demand justice.

MTV Splitsvilla, currently in its fifteenth season, is hosted by Sunny Leone and Rannvijay Singha.
