Convict & punish if guilty, otherwise allow participation in World Cup

KATHMANDU: Singer Rachna Rimal has demanded that cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane be punished if he is guilty and let him play in the World Cup if he is innocent.

Rimal expressed dissatisfaction on social media following the release on bail after being listed in the ”unwatchable’ list.

She wrote, “If found guilty, punishment should be given as per the law; if innocent, he should be allowed to play in the World Cup.”

Sandeep’s supporters have agreed with her post.
