CNI calls for action against assault on CG foods employees

KATHMANDU: The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) has said that the incident of assault and vandalism of material property on employees of CG Foods on Friday is condemnable.
CNI released a press statement on Sunday denouncing the incident of assault and property damage inflicted upon employees working at CG Foods, a prominent industrial establishment in the country owned by the Chaudhary Group.
In light of the current volatile situation, where such incidents further discourage the private sector’s morale and jeopardize investment environment, posing a serious threat to economic prosperity, the CNI strongly condemns such acts and demands legal actions against the perpetrators.
The CNI has urged the Nepalese government, administration, and relevant authorities to take serious notice of such actions, emphasizing the need for a conducive investment climate and discouragement of such discouraging events.
