KATHMANDU: In the conclusion of the three-match series, West Indies ‘A’ has taken a 2-1 lead. Therefore, there’s pressure on Nepal to win today’s match to stay competitive in the series.

The match, set to begin at 12:15 PM at Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, finds West Indies with their sights set on clinching the series with one game to spare.

Despite Nepal securing victory in the series’ opening match with a four-wicket win, they faced consecutive defeats in the subsequent two matches.

Losing the second match by 10 runs and the third by 76 runs.

Nepal, having already announced their final 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup to be held in the West Indies and America next month, is certain to prioritize grooming their World Cup squad starting from today’s game.

Previously, Nepal ensured participation for all players in the squad during the three matches to prepare for the final 15-member squad selection.

In the World Cup, Nepal is set to compete against South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands.
