23-year-old boy killed in collision on Putalisadak

KATHMANDU: An accident occurred on Putalisadak in Kathmandu, resulting in the death of a young man after a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

The incident occurred on Wednesday night involving a motorcycle with registration number Bagmati State 02-027 Pa 8280 and a pickup with registration number Ba 21 Cha 6448.

According to the police, the victim has been identified as Sahil Deula, aged 23, from Ward No. 12 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

Deula, who sustained serious injuries in the accident, was rushed to the National Trauma Center for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.

Following the accident, the police apprehended the driver of the pickup truck, identified as Saurav Basnet, residing in Lokanthali, Bhaktapur.
