Karnali State government will get full shape today itself: CM Kandel

KATHMANDU: Chief Minister of Karnali State, Yam Lal Kandel, has said the Karnali State government would get full shape today itself.

Chief Minister Kandel, who has been taking responsibility of all ministries, has made preparation to give full shape to the cabinet at the coordination of ruling coalition parties.

He had appointed Chief Whip of the CPN (Moist Centre) in Karnali State Assembly, Ran Singh Pariyar, as the minister without portfolio on April 24.

Minister for Physical Infrastructures and Urban Development, Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperative and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law would be appointed from the CPN (UML), he shared.

Similarly, Ministers for Economic Affairs and Planning, Social Development, Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment and Water Resources and Energy Development would be appointed from the CPN (Maoist Centre).

CPN (Maoist Centre) Karnali State Assembly leader, Raj Kumar Sharma, mentioned that they have already submitted to CM Kandel the names of ministers to be appointed.

According to the Secretariat of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, homework was underway to administer oath of office and secrecy today itself after appointing the ministers.

Kandel was appointed as Chief Minister of Karnali State on April 9.
