Bajhang by-election: UML ahead of Congress by 700 votes

KATHMANDU: CPN (UML) candidate Daman Bahadur Bhandari maintains a consistent lead in the vote count of State Assembly 1 ‘A’ of Bajhang.

Out of 6,229 total votes counted so far, Bhandari has secured 2,229 votes.

Following closely is Nepali Congress candidate Abhishek Bahadur Singh with 1504 votes.

Janak Bahadur Budha of CPN (Maoist Centre) stands third with 1,482 votes.

Unified Socialist Party candidate Dil Bahadur Singh has garnered 903 votes, while Rastriya Prajatantra Party candidate Kishor Kumar Khadka has obtained 55 votes.
