Fire engulfs multiple premises in Shankhamul, causes extensive damage

KATHMANDU: Fire breaks out in Shankhamul, Kathmandu, causing damage to 5 premises including a vehicle workshop.

According to the police, when the fire broke out, a motor garage, a paan shop, a tea stall, a fish shop, and a fruit and vegetable shop suffered losses.

Currently, the police and locals are working together to extinguish the fire.

As per the police, the fire has also caused damage to another garage adjacent to the one affected by the fire.

The police said that the complete details of the damage caused by the fire could not be received.
