Vote counting to begins in Bajhang from 1 PM

KATHMANDU: Vote counting for the by-election in State Assembly (1) of Bajhang is set to begin from 1:00 PM today.

Following thorough discussions, all participating parties have agreed to commence vote counting from 1:00 PM.

After the collection of ballot boxes, the Election Office had called for an all-party meeting.

In Saturday’s voting, Bajhang saw a 50% voter turnout.

In Bajhang, 11 candidates are contesting, including Daman Bahadur Bhandari from the CPN (Maoist Centre), Abhishek Bahadur Singh from the Nepali Congress, Janak Bahadur Budha from Nepal Communist Party, and Dil Bahadur Singh from the Unified Socialist Party.
