KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has issued an ordinance related to investment.
President Poudel issued the ‘Investment Facilitation Amendment Ordinance-2081’ on Sunday.
According to the spokesperson of the President’s Office, Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai, the ordinance was issued under Article 114 (1) of the Constitution, upon the recommendation of the government.
Amidst the ongoing 3rd Nepal Investment Summit 2024 in Kathmandu, a recent ordinance issued by the President has attracted attention.
Over 1,600 individuals are participating, including 385 from Nepal and representatives from 55 countries, highlighting the event’s global significance.
The summit, featuring 150 projects across 23 stalls, also aims to secure letters of intent for 19 projects, enhancing investment prospects and fostering economic growth in Nepal.
