Ilam-2 by-election: Vote counting venue preparations ends

KATHMANDU: Preparations for vote counting have been completed in Ilam-2, following the conclusion of polling under the by-election.

The counting venue is set up at Gautam Buddha Convention Center (City Hall) in Ilam-7.

The counting area is secured with a wire mesh to prevent unauthorized access during the process.

After the completion of voting at 5 PM, the main election office has informed that the ballot boxes will be transported to the City Hall for counting.

Once the ballot summary is compiled, the office responsible for the electoral process will announce the consensus among all parties before commencing the counting process.
