102 individuals benefited from health camp
Each health post under the municipality provides free services on a designated day every month.
KATHMANDU: A health camp organized in Chankheli Rural Municipality, located in the southern part of the district, has provided services to 152 individuals.
The rural municipality has arranged for free health services from specialist doctors on a monthly basis, along with slogans like “Meet Chankheli Rural Municipality Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, and Relieve the Sorrow of Chankhelians.”
Each health post under the municipality provides free services on a designated day every month.
Coordinator of the municipality’s health division, Surabir Shahi, informed that services are provided by MBBS doctors in Mimi Health Post, Darma Health Post, Melchham Health Post, and Piplang Health Post to facilitate the flow of services.
Shahi further explained that 49 individuals who couldn’t be treated during the five-day camp were referred to the district hospital for additional treatment.
