Ministry of Home Affairs transferred 6 SSPs
Bhupendra Khatri, previously stationed at the Kathmandu District Police Office, has been transferred to the Crime Investigation Department.
KATHMANDU: The Home Ministry has undergone a significant shake-up, with six Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) appointments made on Friday.
Bhupendra Khatri, previously stationed at the Kathmandu District Police Office, has been transferred to the Crime Investigation Department.
Meanwhile, Basanta Rajurel has been appointed as the new Chief of Kathmandu District Police Office.
Furthermore, Somendra Singh Rathor, who served at the District Police Office of the Sub-Metropolitan Area, has been transferred to the National Security Council.
His position at the district has been filled by Sanuram Bhattarai.
Abhayanarayan Kafle, who was serving as SSP at the Police Headquarters’ Training Directorate, has been reassigned to the Training Directorate of Koshi State.
Lastly, Rajan Adhikari, stationed in Koshi, has been moved to the Training Directorate at Police Headquarters.
