Recent data from AQI Air paints a troubling picture, with the city’s air quality index soaring to 194, a level considered profoundly detrimental to human well-being.
In light of this concerning reality, we must redouble our efforts to tackle the underlying factors contributing to air pollution in the Kathmandu Valley, prioritizing the health and vitality of its residents.
Experts attribute the resurgence of air pollution in Kathmandu to a multitude of factors, including vehicular emissions, industrial activities, rampant construction, biomass burning, and the adverse effects of climate change.
