KATHMANDU: Preparations for the film “Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi,” produced by Seven Seas Entertainment, have commenced with singer and artist Prakash Saput signing on for a significant role.
Filming is set to begin from the second week of Jestha.
The production team finalized a contract with Saput a few days ago, paving the way for his involvement in the film.
While details about his role remain undisclosed, Saput’s inclusion adds to the anticipation surrounding the project.
Directed and written by Saroj Paudel, “Purna Bahadur’s Sarangi” marks Seven Seas Cinema’s latest venture.
The film’s title and theme were previously unveiled through promotional materials, hinting at a compelling narrative and artistic presentation intended for global release by 2082 BSZ.
Starring Binod Paudel and Patrick Subedi, the film boasts investment from Prashant Siwakoti and features music by Mahesh Dawadi along with screenplay and dialogue by Mahesh Dawadi.
Ramesh Chaulagain and Hari Shrestha serve as executive producers.
