Drivers’ training to make disadvantaged section self-reliant

NARAYANGADH (Chitwan): Kalika Municipality has launched a free driving training to make single, Dalit and underprivileged women self-reliant.

On the occasion, Kalika Municipality’s mayor Binod Regmi said the training would help women become entrepreneur and self-employed wherever they go at home and abroad. “People with skills do not have any problem at work”, he added.
Chief Administrative Officer of Kalika, Chudamani Gautam, informed that a 15-day free light four-wheeler driver training has been organized for 70 women of the municipality from Thursday on the premises of Shahid Smriti Campus at Kalika-4m Padampur.
He said that the training was conducted with the aim of motivating the disadvantaged section of society to become professional driver.
