Show cause order issued against Gaur murder case

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has issued a show cause order regarding the murder incident in Gaur of Rautahat.

A single bench of Supreme Court Justice Til Prasad Shrestha issued a show cause order against the Gaur murder case on Wednesday.

On 4 June , 2023, Tribhuvan Shah filed a writ in the Supreme Court against the genocidal murder case in Gaur.

The order came on Wednesday in the petition filed against the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Office, Police Headquarters and others.

On the 21 March , 2007, the Maoists and the then Janadhikar Forum held a program at the same place in Rautahat. During the clash between the two sides, 27 people were killed and 115 people were injured.
