Storm likely to occur in Terai, weather to remain clear in remaining regions
According to the Division, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim States and mainly fair in remaining areas of the country this afternoon.
KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has predicted partly cloudy weather in the hilly region and generally fair in remaining parts of the country.
According to the Division, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim States and mainly fair in remaining areas of the country this afternoon.
Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim States
Light snowfall is forecasted to occur at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim States.
There is a possibility of thunderstorm in some places of the Terai including Lumbini State.
Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy in hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali States tonight.
Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim States in the afternoon and night.
In view of possible incidents of storm in some places of the Terai including Lumbini State, the Division said cautioned the general public to adopt safety measures in the areas.
