3 dies in Bolero-bike collision in Jhapa
The identities of the deceased have not been disclosed yet, but the police have estimated their ages to be around 25 and 16 years old.
KATHMANDU: A road accident in Shivasatashi, Jhapa has resulted in the deaths of three individuals.
The incident occurred around 5:30 AM when a motorcycle with registration number May 3 Pa 5001 collided head-on with a Bolero bearing registration number State 1-01-001 Cha 932 on the East-West Highway, heading from Damak towards Surunga.
Among the three individuals on the motorcycle, two were pronounced dead at the scene, while the third succumbed to injuries while being transported to the B&C Hospital in Birtamode.

The ill-fated motorcycle, Bolero and driver of the Bolero, identified as Rishiraj Giri, a 45-year-old resident of Mechinagar-6, has been detained at the local police office in Jhiljile.
According to Inspector Anish Budhathoki, in charge of the area’s police inspection, the situation is under control.
