57-year-old man held for raping 66-year-old woman

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 57-year-old Shyam Sher Rai, a resident of Limchungbung Rural Municipality-4 Laku, Udayapur, on the charge of raping a 66-year-old woman.

Based on a complaint that Rai threatened to kill the woman and forcibly raped her on Sunday afternoon, the police stationed from the area police office in Limchungbung arrested him.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
