Shrestha nominated as Chamber’s Advisory Council Chair
Shrestha, who is also the former chair of the chamber, was elected as the chair of the advisory council.
KATHMANDU: Rajesh Kaji Shrestha has been nominated the Chairperson of Advisory Council of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce.
Also the former Chairperson of the Chamber, Shrestha has been entrusted with the responsibility of the chair of its advisory council.
Among others nominated as members in the council having the advisory role for the institutional development and capacity enhancement of entrepreneurs are former chairpersons of the Chamber, Mahesh Kumar Agrawal, Surendra Bir Malakar and Suresh Kumar Basnet.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Chamber said that the Council has the role of establishing coordination between government and private sector, expanding international relations, protecting the rights and welfare of entrepreneurs and business fraternity and strengthening private sector role.
