KATHMANDU: The price of gold, which set a new record in the Nepalese market, decreased today (Tuesday).

The price of Chhapawal gold, which was traded at 138,200 rupees per tola on Monday, has decreased by 2,700 rupees per tola today and is being traded at 135,500 rupees per tola.

Similarly, the price of Tejabi gold has also decreased today.

Today, Tejabi gold has decreased by 2,700 rupees to 134,850 rupees per tola, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Federation.

On the other hand, the price of silver has decreased by 45 rupees per tola.

On Tuesday, silver was traded at 1,705 rupees per tola, today it is trading at 1,660 rupees per tola.
