Couple dies in bike accident

KATHMANDU: A motorcycle accident in Bardibas, Mahottari, resulted in the death of a couple.

The incident occurred on Monday on the road in Kalapani Jungle, Ward No. 3 of Bardibas Municipality.

According to the police, the motorcycle bearing registration number Ba. Pr. 02-043 Pa 7184, driven by 35-year-old Manoj Chaudhary from Ishwarpur Municipality-5 of Sarlahi, and his wife Shiwani Chaudhary, 24, were riding the motorcycle when it went out of control, leading to the accident.

Both of them sustained serious injuries in the accident, and while being transported to Bardibas-based Janasewa Hospital for treatment, they succumbed to their injuries on the way.

The police are conducting necessary investigations into the incident.
