48-year-old man held for raping minor

KATHMANDU: Police on Friday afternoon arrested 48-year-old Ambar Bahadur Saru, a resident of Rambha Rural Municipality-2, Palpa on the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl.

Based on a complaint that Saru had forced the girl at the victim’s house on Kartik 13 (Oct 30) and as the girl was pregnant, the police stationed at Hungi police station arrested him.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
