ACC Premier Cup: Nepal to face Hong Kong today in third-place playoff

KATHMANDU: The third-place playoff match under the ACC Premier Cup is set to take place today.

Nepal and Hong Kong will compete after facing defeats in the semi-finals.

The match will commence at 4:15 PM Nepali time at the Oman Cricket Academy in Oman.

After losing to Oman in the completed second semi-final on Friday, Hong Kong is now scheduled to play against Nepal for the third-place spot.

Earlier, Nepal suffered a defeat against the UAE by six wickets in the first semi-final held last Friday.

The winner of the third-place playoff will join the two finalist teams in the upcoming Emerging Teams Asia Cup.

Moreover, the final match of the ACC Premier Cup is scheduled between hosts Oman and UAE, set to be played on Sunday.”
