KATHMANDU: Nepal has set a 120-run target for the UAE in the ACC Premier Cup semi-finals.

Apart from Sandeep Jora of Nepal, who scored a half-century, the other batsmen struggled.

Jora notched the highest score of 50 runs, facing 40 balls and smashing 4 fours and 2 sixes.

Following him, Gulshan Kumar Jha contributed 20 runs, while Karan KC added 17 runs before being dismissed.

Nepal’s innings saw an early setback as opener Kushal Bhurtel was dismissed on the first ball.

Fellow opener Aashif Sheikh managed 8 runs, while captain Rohit Kumar Poudel and Kushal Malla scored 5 and 3 runs respectively.

Dipendra Singh Airee and Sompal Kami contributed 5 and 2 runs each before being dismissed.

Abhinash Bohara scored 1 run, and Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi remained unbeaten with 2 runs as Nepal concluded their innings.
