One held with pistol and four rounds of ammunition

KATHMANDU: Police on Thursday apprehended Mim Singh Lama, aged 38, at his residence in Kavrepalanchowk Roshi Rural Municipality-5, for possessing a semi-automatic pistol and four rounds of ammunition.

The arrest was conducted by a team from the local police station and the newly established police station in Naya Basti.

Authorities initiated the arrest following a thorough investigation, prompted by a report of suspicious activities in the area.

Lama was found in possession of a firearm and ammunition during a search conducted under the coordination of the police beat in Naya Basti.

Further investigations are underway regarding this matter.
