KATHMANDU: Three people have died in an accident in Sindhupalchowk.
The incident occurred at Tripura Sundari Rural Municipality (Piskar)-5, Dharambasti, where a bus carrying wedding attendants met with an accident.
According to reports, 52 passengers were injured in the accident.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Niranjan Bhattarai of the District Police Office informed that the bus No. Ba 4 Kha 5616 of Rolwaling Transport, which was carrying wedding attendants from Dolakha, met with an accident in Dharawati at around 7 AM this morning.
Bhattarai mentioned that the injured passengers have been rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment.
As the bus plunged into the cliff, the security personnel are having difficulties in rescue jobs, Bhattarai added.
Among the injured, the condition of seven individuals is critical.
