Dr. Sunil Sharma provides Rs 2 million funds to children’s hospital
Dr. Sharma visited the ongoing construction site of Dr. Bhagwan Koirala's hospital at the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH) today, offering his support.
KATHMANDU: Member of the House of Representatives and businessman Dr. Sunil Sharma has contributed 2 miilion to the children’s hospital under the leadership of senior cardiologist Dr. Bhagwan Koirala.
Dr. Sharma visited the ongoing construction site of Dr. Bhagwan Koirala’s hospital at the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH) today, offering his support.
Handing over the funds, Dr. Sharma expressed his admiration for Dr. Koirala’s dedication to undertaking government responsibilities himself and extended his assistance out of respect.
Under Dr. Koirala’s leadership at KIOCH, the specialized children’s hospital construction project has progressed across all seven provinces, including Kathmandu. In Damak, KIOCH has completed construction of a non-profit hospital and commenced services.
KIOCH plans to establish a 100-bed hospital in Kathmandu, with Dr. Koirala announcing further plans to set up 50-bed hospitals in each of the seven states.
