KATHMANDU: Police arrested 22-year-old Arjun Sunar, a resident of Kailashnagar Nayabasti Tole, Gulariya Municipality-4, Bardiya, on the charge of raping an 11-year-old girl.

Based on a complaint that Sunar raped the girl on April 3, the police stationed from District Police Office Bardiya arrested him.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
