Salyan bus accident (update): 4 injured sent to Kohalpur for further treatment
Police Inspector Magar informed that all the four people were referred to the local hospital for further treatment after general treatment.
KATHMANDU: Among the seriously injured in the bus accident in Salyan today, four people have been sent to Kohalpur in Banke for further treatment.
According to the information provided by Police Inspector Naveen Thapa Magar of Tharmare District Police Office, 46-year-old Bishnu BK of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-4, 22-year-old Chitra Pun of Rukum Triveni Rural Municipality-2, his 6-year-old son Ramesh Pun Magar and 29-year-old Krishna Chaudhary of Tulsipur-19 Bijauri have been sent to the teaching hospital Kohalpur for further treatment.
Police Inspector Magar informed that all the four people were referred to the local hospital for further treatment after general treatment.
According to him, 10 other injured people are being treated at Tharmare primary center and local polyclinic.
The bus, which was traveling from Ghorahi to Thingbang, veered off the road in Bagchaur Municipality-2 of Salyan.
As a result of the accident, 22 passengers were injured.
Among them, eight individuals sustained minor injuries and have returned home, while the condition of the remaining four individuals is stable, prompting their transfer to Kohalpur for advanced treatment.
Since the condition of eight of the injured persons is normal, they have returned home after the accident, and the Salyan police had earlier released the details of 14 injured persons.
It is assumed that the bus may have gone out of control and caused an accident.
