Police officer dies in collision with Tanker

KATHMANDU: A police officer died after being struck by an oil tanker.

Dinesh Pariyar, a 29-year-old police constable, was killed after a tanker collided with him in the Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City of Bara.

According to District Police Officer Bara, he died while receiving treatment at the LS Neuro Hospital in Parwanipur.

On Monday night, around 10:40 p.m., a motorbike numbered Ga 14 Pa 5972 was riding by Pariyar when it was hit from behind by a tanker numbered NA 7 Kha 3026 traveling in the same direction at Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City-2, Sanchar.
